That depends. There are many factors involved in the cost of painting a car.
What is the size of the vehicle? For example: is it a crew cab pickup truck or Smart Fortwo car?
Is additional work required, such as repairing dents or rust, or is paint peeling?
What color or colors are needed? Black or bright red? Two or three colors?
What about painting inside the doors, under the hood, or inside the bed of a truck?
All of these things and more are all involved in painting a car, making it very difficult to give any price without seeing the vehicle and understanding what the desired results are.
That depends. We may be able to give an idea on price over the phone depending on what the desired repair is. Example: If all that is needed is a new windshield, we probably can give an accurate price. If the vehicle was in an accident, it will be very difficult to give an estimate as there can be significant hidden damage. Pictures can be helpful but it is still best for everyone if we can see the vehicle.
We do not have a loaner program; however, we work with a trusted rental car company. They will have a rental waiting here for you when you drop your vehicle off for repairs and you can return the rental here when you pick up your vehicle after repairs are completed. Please let us know when you schedule repairs if you would like us to set up a rental for you.
No, you have the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired. Insurance recommended shops usually have agreements with the insurance provider to do repairs at a lower cost to the insurer. This can sometimes result in a shop cutting corners on repairs to save costs. Tim’s Body Shop is an independent repair shop; safety and a proper repair are our first priority for all our customers.
